Six Flags

Last Saturday Danny and I were determined to do something with Izzy outside. The weather just seemed too nice to be 80 degrees on January 3rd!

Suddenly we remembered that Six Flags had season tickets for 2009 on sale. We decided this was our chance to introduce Izzy to some rollercoasters. We took her to the state fair in Dallas last year and she didn't stop talking about the kid rides for months!

We started out all riding the big Carousel. Izzy rode "Fred" because he looked like my mom's horse Fred.

We ventured over to the Looney Toon area where the rides were geared to little ones and we couldn't get on them with her. She was a brave little thing though... she ran right over and jumped in the pink cup all by herself. She was flying around in circles in no time.... hands up the hole time!

Izzy posing on the ferris wheel... we could see all over the park in that little thing.

The next ride we got to go on was a mini-roller coaster. Izzy had a blast in the front of the car with me and Danny taking shots from the back of our car. She kept giggling as it shifted us around the car...

"Please start the swing!!!"

Flying by herself and waving at daddy!

Danny and Izzy tried their luck at a few games. I thought they were going to win.... but the old guy beside us won! I guess 2nd place for a 4 year old isn't bad.

Hear we go on the Yosemite Sam boat ride. Izzy was a little afraid Yosemite was going to take her money too...

Time for a little boot scootin'... there was one place where it would bump you up really high.... Izzy kept saying, "Get ready for the bump Ms. Bailey!" It was hilarious....

Finally... our next to last ride.... Danny and Izzy take a quick pose in our tea cup prior to us all getting REALLY dizzy!

You can't beat the expression on Izzy face!

As we walked to the gate to leave the park we ran into Tweety Bird. Izzy immediately started talking about giving her a hug. Danny and I couldn't believe it as Izzy usually freaks at the sight of someone dressed up in a character costume. We praised her repeatedly... maybe our fear is gone!!!!
