Rehearsal Time

As with any wedding... the rehearsal day flew by.

Danny's sister, Diana and her husband, Ray and 3 kids, Matt, Natasha, and Nick were scheduled to arrive on Thursday night from Canada and then spend Friday recovering from their flight. Unfortunately... the weather in Chicago wasn't on the same schedule as us. They ended up getting here mid-day Friday so we were in a little more of a rush to get things ready for the rehearsal at 7.
Our wedding was at La Buena Vida winery in Grapevine Texas. They have a beautiful outdoor setup.... even better for a wedding anytime other than June!
Here we are at the "water fountain" altar for rehearsal.... a little tough for Daddy to practice giving me away!

A quick snapshot of the soon to be new family!

Once all the formal stuff was done we headed back to our house as we had made plans to have dinner and invite any out of town guests and family over to enjoy friends and food. We were so pleased to have our close friends and family around us.
Here is a picture of DD, Bory, me, Christina, and Megan.
I met Megan and DD back in my Stryker days. These girls have been there since the beginning of Danny and I's relationship..... so thankful for them!
The Baltzer's from Ottawa...
Mom and Gran.... aren't they so pretty!
Crazy girls.... all of em.... Gotta love Aunt Bev!
Twins... ha! Best man, Dean on the left.... and hubby, Danny on the Right!
My new inlaws, Diana (sister in law) and Fred (father in law).
My cousin Anna..... Love her!

Pre-Wedding Fun

A couple of days before our wedding, the Baltzer's (Tom and Donna) from Ottawa came down for the wedding. They arrived on the Tuesday before and we had the pleasure of spending a day on the golf course with them to celebrate.

I don't quite remember who won.... but we had a great time! Aren't they the cutest couple.... we are so happy they made the long trip down to celebrate things with us!

We let the boy's ride together.... I think they played nice in their own cart.

Later that night we were scheduled to go watch Toronto play against the Rangers. Unfortunately, a huge storm came rolling in. Baltz and Donna had never seen such a thing... and we were all a little worried when the sirens went off. Baltz decided to calm his fear by guarding the wedding beer and having one as well!
