In July we headed off to Canada to see Danny's side of the family. It's our favorite trip every year. This was extra special to me because it was my first trip as a Desabrais!!!!! Another big thing about the trip is that my dad and Cheryl got to go with us. We were all so stoked! Our flight left from DFW about 8:45 on Saturday morning and we were in Canada around 3:30. Diana and the kids met us at the airport with a car seat for Izzy. Izzy was a little shy at that time so she decided to ride in the jeep with us and meet everyone at Mere and Pere's cottage.
As soon as we got there everyone was out of the car and onto the dock to fish. Izzy caught a perch on the 1st try.
Dad and Cheryl were right at home on the Ottawa River.
The boys took off in the canoe.
Later that night Danny decided to try his luck fly fishing.... needless to say.... Izzy caught more!
Pere built a fire down by the river for us.... the kids couldn't wait to jump into the smores!
